The New Zealand Nationals provides a platform for CrossFit competitors, both as individuals and teams, at all levels from across New Zealand to compete.
This weekend will be the ultimate test of fitness to see who will be crowned National Champions in their respective divisions.
The 23rd/24th October, the scheduled in-person competition will no longer take place. Rather, after much deliberation and consideration the competition will now progress as a three stage competition, as follows:
Labour Weekend. From the evening of the 22nd to the 25th of October, there will be an online competition for all teams outside Auckland (all locations that are not at Alert Level 3).
On a date that will be two weekends following the move to Alert Level 2 for regions that could not compete in Stage One, a second online competition for those teams only will take place. This event will run Friday evening through to Sunday. Dates, workouts and schedule will be advised once the move down Alert Levels is announced by the NZ Government.
If weekend clashes with another NZ Nationals event, dates will be organised accordingly.
The top eight teams from each of the Rx, Intermediate and Scaled divisions will be invited to an in-person competition to be held over Auckland Anniversary weekend in 2022 (29-30th January). This will be where the 2021 Fittest Team/Gym in New Zealand is crowned.
