The Apple Press® is a kiwi company based in Hawke's Bay, starting off as an apple grower in 1982 exporting to more than 45 countries. Bothered by '"ugly fruit" (fruit perfectly fine to be eaten but not 'pretty enough' to be exported and sold), founder Ross Beaton met Sally Gallagher, Hawke’s Bay’s Food Innovation Specialist in 2013. Together they set out to make all-natural, quality, varietal led apple juice in significant quantities, but they couldn’t find a factory with the capability to do it....so Ross built it.

The Apple Press® Wellness range has a new addition this week. Pink Lady® with Beetroot, Carrot & Ginger Juice. The new Apple, Beetroot, Carrot & Ginger pairs tangy Pink Lady apples with Canterbury grown carrot and beetroot, with each bottle packing in 30% of vegetables and 66% Pink Lady apple with an added ginger zing, a dash of lemon, and a dose of Vitamin C.
Explaining the growth of the Wellness range which features three other flavours, Ross Beaton said increasing their Wellness range is in response to a growing market.
